About Abbey Glen

Abbey Glen offers a unique carefree style of living featuring highly attractive quality home sites, clubhouse and pool located in an area of great natural beauty here in Gibsonville, NC. We are nestled between Greensboro and Burlington, NC at the juncture of Alamance and Guilford Counties. As our residents will attest, we are truly a community—a community of friendly and caring neighbors. We have a variety of dwelling types

ranging from duplex and quadruplex, attached single-story units to detached “houses”, some with basements and upper levels. We are just minutes away from new upscale shopping centers, great restaurants, and state-of-the art medical and academic facilities, including Alamance Regional Medical Center and Elon University. Our full calendar of social events brings residents and guests together for dinner out, game-playing, cookouts, pot-luck suppers, parties, and a host of other activities.

Thursday Night Mexican Train Game

The Thursday Night Game Night folks are reviving Mexican Train. If you haven’t ever played Mexican Train, it’s more difficult than Bunco but not as difficult as Mah Jong.

Mexican Train will now be played on the third Thursday each month at the clubhouse starting at 6:30pm. On February 19, we'll vote on the rules that will be used. Then begin play. Bring your own snack and beverage.  See the Members Only area for more information.

Social and Clubhouse Committees Welcome Party

The Social and Clubhouse Committees are hosting a social event to meet and greet your neighbors and the Abbey Glen Board. Login to the Members Only section to learn more.

Preparing for Inclement Weather

The winter weather is upon us.  In the past there have been instances where freezing temperatures may have caused pipes to freeze which resulted in damage to homes throughout our community.

Association Management Group strongly recommends that you leave your interior faucets on a slow drip during subfreezing temperatures. Additionally, be sure that the exterior faucets do not have garden hoses attached to them. If you own a vacant unit, you should be sure that the heat is turned on.

These simple measures can help avoid frozen pipes and possible damage to your home. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your community manager.
